After a Long Cold winter, the past 4 months spent tying Flies and buying non-needed fly fishing gear, it was finally time to get back out on the River and fish. Spring is near and so was the starting of the Skwala Hatch.Read More
Montana Spring Adventures
As always, the Adventures continue here in Montana. Meeker our White Labrador is fast growing, now hitting the ripe old age of 4 months.
The past month has been spent with good friends and lots of outdoor time! Skeet shooting, mountain drives and some fun valley flying.
Check out some of the images below from the past month. All images photographed with a Nikon D800, 14-24mm 2.8 Lens or Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 Lens.
Selway Fly Fishing
Yesterday there was a break in the rainy Bitterroot Valley weather. We awoke to sunny blue skies and slightly warmer temperatures. It was the perfect day to fly back to Moose Creek, ID to go for a short hike and try our hand at Fly Fishing on the Selway River.
The fishing was pretty good in the end. Nice small Brook Trout, all caught on stimulaters. We packed a lunch and the pup, Meeker, ran around enjoying the river and everything else she could get her mouth on. It is a pretty neat feeling to know that we where the only people around for miles, getting to enjoy the Selway Wilderness all to ourselves.
Here are some pic's from our fun adventure!!!

Floating the Clark Fork
Here are some shots from Early Aug on the Clark Fork. We headed out for a day of fun fishing. Not too many fish, but over all still had a great time. Thanks to Drew and Grizzley Hackle for making sure we had a great trip!
We just finished Fishing on The Hooker and Picaflor this June and July down in Pinas Bay, Panama. There were some Big storms, Big Waves and a couple of Big Fish!
